Creating artwork is a spiritual journey of discovery and a contemplative exercise. It is a daily challenge. What can I do next? How can I improve? What will others see in my work? I mostly paint abstracted nature, as being in nature keeps me grounded and appreciative. When I look at paintings I want to always wonder, and always find something new in them. A new shape, and a new relationship of the elements. It brings me joy when other people look at my work and find something that makes them smile or feel more connected.
